Whole Foods is pretty well-known these days, but the new flagship location in Tysons Corner may still have the capacity to surprise you. Sure, it has all the things that you’d expect from a Whole Foods: fresh organic produce, a skilled in-house butcher and seafood staff, a bakery that turns out pastries and bread daily, tons of prepared foods, and an expansive beer and wine section. In addition to all that, though, the Tysons WF includes an expansive in-store food hall that features some of the biggest names in the local food scene. Nicholas Stefanelli’s Officina and Virginia-based Rappahannock Oyster Co are just a few of the restaurant mainstays in the food hall. You’ll also find an on-site bar and game room, a juice and smoothie bar, and an Indian prepared food section with two tandoori ovens.
Before long, you’ll be itching to head out for your next round of grocery shopping!
