Stock Up on Fresh Produce at the Pike Park Farmers Market

Pike Park Farmers Market, located in front of the Rite Aid at the intersection of Columbia Pike and S. Walter Reed Drive, is a year-round farmers market open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market includes produce, meats, and dairy products from our region’s top local vendors as well as a variety of local artisans selling everything from homemade cleaning products to jewelry. Start your morning off with Bonaparte Bread, specializing in traditional 17th century French breads, desserts, and pastries. Another favorite is Acme Pie Co., offering freshly baked pies using local ingredients and a Southern-style crust that is both flaky and crispy.

In addition to street parking, ample public parking is available across the street from the market on the first underground level of the Halstead’s parking garage. The market is also easily accessible via the Number 16 Metrobus. Bring along your reusable shopping bags, which come in handy as you shop from vendor to vendor.
