In every town there's a place where regulars stop by to have an omelet and a cup of coffee while reading the morning paper, where folks on their lunch break have a soup and sandwich to recharge, and where groups of friends gather for dinner later in the evenings. Arlington’s version of this place is the Arlington Diner, which serves Greek-American food and occupies a unobtrusive corner in a shopping center.
Open seven days a week, morning to late night, this neighborhood restaurant is best loved among regulars for its breakfast, which is served all day. Popular dishes include corned beef hash served with golden hash browns, as well as French toast topped with fresh fruit and a sprinkling of powdered sugar. If breakfast food isn’t your thing, check out the shishkebab or lamb kapama for savory meals later in the day.
Note that Arlington is cash only, so stop by an ATM on your way over from Concord Crystal City.
